NSIA Insurance Group is a customer-focused company. We regard loss handling and claims as our ultimate purpose, because it plays a critical role in any insurance company. NSIA understands that a customer wants to be assured that in exchange for payment of premium; there is a guarantee he/she will be indemnified against all losses covered by the policy.

The goal of our Claims Unit is to promptly pay all properly documented claims covered by the policy within the set time limit. We are confident to state that NSIA Insurance Group is financially strong and able to meet its contractual promises to its customers.

NSIA Insurance Group Claims Process

Our aim is to make the claims process as stress free as possible. As such, we have put in place measures that will bring about satisfaction to our customers in the handling of their claims. Each claim process involves notification of claim, acknowledgement of claim, registration of claim, determination of insurance cover, documentation of claim, and adjustment of claim that will lead to either repudiation of the claim or making a settlement offer.

  • NOTIFICATION – The Claims Unit must be promptly notified of any loss that is covered by the insured’s policy. Notification may be done verbally or in writing and must be in accordance with the requirement stated in the policy.
  • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT – After a claim is reported, it is assigned to a dedicated and experienced claims handler that will contact the insured within one business day or less. The claims handler is the insured’s main point of contact throughout the claims process; to guide the insured each step of the way by providing information and answering any questions the insured may have regarding the claim process.
  • DOCUMENTATION – It is the duty of the insured to prove by way of documentation that he/she has actually suffered a loss. Lack of documentation by the insured within a given time, is a ground for repudiation of the claim.

  5. For Total Loss – original vehicle registration documents & keys
